  1. We think about you all the time. We remember all the time. You and your family are our in our thoughts and prayers. And all others that have served too. We will always remember.

  2. The tragedy of loosing a loved one in the service and the void it leaves the family no words can truly console. I remember thinking and wondering after leaving my brother’s grave. My parents had just received the folded flag and the taps blew and all the military burial expectations had been completed. Steve had just been home two months ago for my wedding. It took over two weeks for his body to come back from Viet Nam. The world never looked the same again.God bless you and your family and what you shared was so honest and beautifully written. thank you for sharing

  3. Very sorry for your loss. I lost a great friend (wife’s first cousin) to a helicopter wreck in Jordan 4 years ago. It was to be his last mission. Very very hard, but like you, we try to celebrate the good times & not sweat the small stuff.
    God bless!
